Odd, though, that online sites like EBGames.com and Gamestop.com aren’t taking pre-orders yet. You can pre-order the games, but not the hardware…

Maybe they’re expecting a small initial delivery, so they’re waiting to allow preorders? Sony uses the “scarcity-as-hype” strategy often. Or maybe they just don’t trust Sony on the release date yet.
…or maybe they’re just incompetant. 🙂 I’ve never really been impressed with either company on the whole.
