The guys at GiantBomb got a demo of Sony’s EyePet while they were at PAX. This is the kind of thing that makes me wish we had kids in the house so I could get it ‘for them’ and then play around with it myself. 
No kids in the house? Get Sony’s new EyeKid. Yes. your own virtual kid that you can raise and play with.
Sorry, I just do not see the purpose for something like this.
GET A REAL PET!
Oh well, enough of my rant.
The technology is amazing. Reminds me of the Free Realms pet care. Virtual shampoo, food, etc for RL $$?
