I have a few characters, but none more than level 4 or maybe 5. I just can't quite get into the game, though I suspect most of that might be just because I'm comfortable in EQ2, have a guild, and know my way around and in Vanguard I'm just sort of lost. I'm on the seradon server, and love the game, always have. finishing moves are like reactive attacks, when you parry or dodge you'll hear a sound like a chain going off, and a special attack will light up on your hotbar that you can use (the short cut key for this is Y) you'll also get counter attacks for spells, which also light up after you recognize that a mob is casting something at you, you counter this with the key command G. Each class gets their own reactions (as I call them at least) that do different things. :) The 4% buff (if it is indeed a buff) would be a stance, and you'll be able to change that to different stances as you level up and obtain more of them. :) Any other questions, feel free to ask! I also have a fairly large article about VG coming out in the next issue of Beckett at the end of January about all the changes that have been going on (fishing, galleons etc).
