He confuses the characters already developed to the point where it's teeth gnashing. But then I was a fan of Gotrek + Felix before the novels so I took it a bit harsher than others! :P Long has his own books out and their... ok. Nothing hugely special currently. I would recommend reading Kings other books from the Games Workshop range (mainly the Space Wolf series before he left the Black Library) and even take a peek at some of Dan Abnet's stuff. Admittedly it's Warhammer 40,000 but they're still decent enjoyable reads. There's a truly awesome set of 3 books as well from the Fantasy range.
