Weird how people just give up but what can you do right? They will eventually all go back to their own games. What I learn is that a lot of bloggers game hop, whine, then go back to where they game hopped from. It is a never ending cycle. Kinda like how I always go back to WoW or EQ2,

[...] Warhammer Day By Day The excellent Dragonchasers blog has misinterpreted the reasons for my intention of leaving Warhammer, which is admittedly probably easy to do if you haven’t read the posts from late last week. [...]

In fairness, I went into the weekend - before this happened - with the unstated intention to let my subscription lapse because I am tired of the game. I think the fall of Atdorf is discouraging and that the early-morning ninja assault devalues any acheivement in it. But if I was still enthused about the game, right now I would be talking up how we could get back at those dirty Destro players. But my larger problem is that for the last week+ it's seemed like nobody was doing anything but grinding Mourkain Temple and Tor Anroc, and that had much more to do with my departure than Altdorf's fall. Scenarios, including those two, are fun but without the option to do PQs and world RvR the game felt crippled to me.

I went into the weekend not wanting to play WAR but wanting to find the spark in it again. I didn't get it - and the fall of Altdorf merely cemented that rather than causing it.
