Unfortunatly he becomes so good that he was a target to be snatched up and snatched he was - thrown into another company and away from GW (resulting in two series, GnF and a Spacewolf one being unfinished). This meant another author had to take the place of King for the 'final' GnF books and sufficient to say the guy currently writing the 'new' GnF books isn't half as good as King. If anything he actually goes backwards on alot of what King has done to the point where you think it's the first book all over again. King is an awesome writer and he gets better and better.
